Row for Humanity is a fundraiser put on by Kansas State Men’s Crew, Manhattan Junior Crew, and the Manhattan Community Rowing Club on behalf of the Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity. This year we are also partnering with Konza Strength to rack up more meters and more dollars for charity!
How does it work?
At 1pm on Saturday 8 May, we’ll set up our ergs in the City Park tennis courts along 14th street and row for an hour to see how many meters we can go…and how many dollars we can raise…
You can encourage your favorite rower to go farther by choosing from the list below and pledging a small amount per 100m…or feel free to make a flat donation.
How is the money divided?
75% of the money raised will go to the individual rower to pay for dues or competition fees (anyone else excited for summer sprints?); 25% of the contributions each rower brings in will be donated to the Manhattan Area Habitat For Humanity.
