Row for Humanity is a fundraiser put on by Kansas State Crew and Manhattan Junior Crew each year on behalf of a local charity. 25% of our proceeds are donated to local school-affiliated charities–MJC’s donations benefit the USD 383 FIT Closet while KSU Crew’s donations help support Cats’ Cupboard.

How does it work?

This year we will be rowing on March 1st at rowing practice. Each individual will row for one hour, non-stop, as far as they can go!

Supporters can make a donation to their favorite rower for a chance to guess the total number of meters the team will log in our “hour of power.” The person who guesses the closest number of meters will win a team candle and car freshie!

How is the money divided?

75% of the money raised will go to the individual rower you choose; this money will help pay for their Spring Break training camp in sunny Waco, TX. The remaining 25% of the contributions each rower brings in will be donated to their team’s charity (FIT Closet and Cats’ Cupboard, respectively) to provide school-related items for local students in need.
