Ewan Wileman

Help me make a difference in our community while becoming a better rower!

Why you should support me:

In May of 2021 my friend asked me to try rowing with him. I went with him and it was the first time rowing for both of us. My decision to join rowing was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. I have been rowing for seven seasons now. Rowing on boats was fun, but one of the main reasons I love rowing so much is the people. I had a couple of friends in rowing already, and adding on the new friends I made, made even the most difficult days fun. I still love the sport so much! Everyday is a challenge and it’s still so fun!
The winter season still has some time left, but the spring season will be beginning soon. I want to improve as much as I can on this amazing rowing team and compete as much as possible. Donating to me will help my rowing journey as I go through high school and possibly college. Please consider donating!

How to Help

There are two ways to help me raise funds for our local charity and for my spring break training camp:

Option 1: Make a pledge per 100m…

Fill out this form to pledge an amount of money based on how far I can row in one hour on Saturday 4 February!

Most pledges are between $0.10 and $1.00 per 100 meters since rowers average 12,000 and 16,000 meters in an hour-of-power.

Example: If you pledge $0.50 per 100m and your rower logs 14,000m on the day, you’ve donated $70. After the event, we will contact you with payment options for your total using the email you’ve entered in the form above.

Option 2: Make a flat donation now.

To make a flat donation via Paypal, click the button below, select MJC and put “Ewan Wileman” in the notes box on the second page. Please make sure you do this so we know who you want your donation to support!
